Our own writing
The text of each guide is original. The sources used for a particular site are listed at the foot of its page, and its official World Heritage Centre page is linked from the page's resources.
What we do not use
We do not copy text, photographs or the emblem from UNESCO or the World Heritage Centre. We use only images that may be reused commercially, either under an open licence (which we credit) or under a commercial licence we hold.
heritage.world is independent and is not affiliated with UNESCO. Read how the guides are made.
